Echoes of the Fallen Messiah

Echoes of the Fallen Messiah was born back in the last sunny days of September'98, with the name Ad Noctum, by Ruben Santos (Guitars), Celso Fragoso (vocals), Gustavo Reis (Keyboards), Antonio Pereira (Bass), Hugo Pinheiro (Drums) and Ana Prestes (Guitars). Later a female voice was needed and Carla Pinto joined the band. A few time later Carla leaved, The Bass player (Antonio) and the Guitarrist (Ana) were the next members to leave, giving place to the brothers Rui Marques (Guitars) and Pedro Marques (Bass). After a few time rehearsing real hard their music and live performance, they played in some concerts and contests, where they shared the stage with bands like Susperia (Norway), Impirius Malevolence (Brasil), Anger, Sirius, Sacred Sin, Demon Dagger, Divine Lust, Ciborium, Dramafall, Perpetual Flame, Howl, The Elegist, Soulless, Omnio, Glaucoma, among many others. In the raining days of March/April'02, they visited the Soundworks Studio and with the producer Helder Guarda, they recorded a demo CDr with four tracks, titled "Preludium". But after the recordings, the vocalist (Celso) leaves the band, and Eurico Silva (ex-Howl) takes his place in the vocals. Then the band decided to change the name to Echoes of the Fallen Messiah, and it's with this name that the demo "Preludium" see the light of day, later in August'03.....
